The Northwest Passage, of course. Wildlife in abundance in seven countries. And a lifetime of incredible experiences. Silversea Cruises has opened sales for an unheard-of 63-day Grand Voyage Arctic 2021.
Between July 16 and September 17, 2021, exploration ship Silver Cloud will journey between Tromsø, Norway and Nome, Alaska. Highlights include helicopter flights to land on the breathtaking Greenland Ice Cap and another to a mountain-top glacier in Qeqertarsuaq for a day of husky sledding.

The route follows the explorations of Amundsen, Franklin and Ross and visits locations only the intrepid can reach, including Beechey Island and Gjoa Haven.
In the fabled Northwest Passage guests will have cultural experiences in remote settlements and full cruise guests will take a chartered flight from Resolute, one of Canada’s northernmost communities to the seldom visited Eureka Research Station—among the coldest inhabited places on the planet.
Joined by celebrated polar explorer and lecturer, Tobias Thorleifsson, travelers will cross the Arctic Circle and fly over the lunar-like landscape of Axel Heiberg Island, with its unique petrified forests.

On board Silver Cloud, there will be no roughing it. The all-suite luxury ship includes butler service and gourmet meals accompanied by premium wines and spirits, speciality coffees, bottled water, juices and soft drinks.
In total, the cruise will visit 51 ports in seven countries accompanied by trained expedition staff and international experts on polar exploration. All-inclusive fares for the Grand Voyage Arctic 2021 begin from $71,100 per person—based on double occupancy and including an early booking bonus. Air fare, expeditions and complimentary Wi-Fi are included.
Silversea promises it will be a life-altering experience.
